Celebrate Tanabata, the Japanese Star Festival, with us at Yokoso Center!
From Tuesday, June 23 through Tuesday, July 7, we will have Tanabata wish strips available in front of Yokoso Center. Everyone is welcome to stop by, write their wish on a colorful strip of paper, and hang it up.
Tanabata is a traditional Japanese celebration where people write their wishes and hopes on paper strips called tanzaku and hang them on bamboo branches.
Please come by and join this beautiful Japanese tradition!
