Experience the beauty of Japanese calligraphy by creating your own artwork on a shikishi board, traditional Japanese fan, or Buddhist sutra paper.

Charity Fundraiser at the "Momiji" Workshop (September 18 & 19)

During the "Momiji" Workshop on Friday, September 18, and Saturday, September 19, we will also be holding a charity fundraiser to support those affected by the M7.1 earthquake that struck Kumamoto Prefecture on July 28.

The donations will be given to the organization providing Instant Houses (temporary emergency shelters) in the disaster-affected areas.

    •     Workshop participation (create your own artwork)

    •     Personalized calligraphy by our instructors

    •     Temporary tattoos

    •     Sales of artwork

We are also seeking donations of artwork for the fundraiser. Your generous contributions and support would be greatly appreciated.

One hundred percent of the proceeds from the donated artwork will be donated to the relief effort. For all other fundraising activities, 50% of the proceeds will be donated. All donations will be sent to Japan to support earthquake relief.
