About the event
Asian American Community Services (AACS) is a non-profit community-based organization serving the needs of Asian, Asian American and Pacific Islanders in Central Ohio.
Since 1976, AACS has led efforts to empower and develop the local Asian community through its expansive and proactive programs and services. This "Cooking for a Cause" fundraising will go to support AACS' senior outreach program.
Senior Outreach at Asian American Community Services (AACS) serves seniors 60 years of age and up in Franklin County.
AACS senior program serves Cambodian and Korean elders by providing transportation, interpreting and translation services, government benefits assistance, retirement and healthcare enrollment, educational courses, home visits, and referrals to community programs.
Senior Outreach is partially funded by the Franklin County Office on Aging, but every year, we need to raise $30,000 to fully fund the program and continue to serve seniors in our community.
